Amazing days with Eli

So.... I know that there is absolutely NO excuse for why it's taken me almost six months to add another entry onto our blog, so I won't try to give you one. Aren't you glad that I've changed? I'm a new women now! No seriously, I don't know what I've been waiting for....some big news.....something unusual to happen..... something amazing????? Then it dawned on me. Our every day life is amazing. Watching my little boy grow up is nothing but amazing! So, with my mom's encouragement, I'm going to start "blogging" some of the adorable every day happenings with Elijah. I may pop some other info in here and there, but at this point, I'm sure the blog will evolve around the little guy, just like everything else in our lives :)

The other day, he and I had taken a long walk to the park to play. He was wearing his new flip flops, which he loves!!!! because he can put them on "all by myself!" The sand was driving him nuts at the playground, so he kicked off his flip flops to walk around barefoot. So, sure enough, he got a sticker in his foot. He came to a halt and yelled, "help Mommy!" After quickly removing the sticker, he looked at me with a big smile and said, "thanks Mommy!" He started to walk away, stopped, looked back at me and said enthusiastically, "Mommy, you saved me! Thank you Mommy!" priceless.
